WE MOVED! Cream City Restoration relocates to the Third Ward

We have been talking about it for over a year! Finally we found the perfect spot for us. Finding a space in the Third Ward was a lot harder than we ever imagined it being. We are so happy to finally be settled in the new space and open! Did you come out to our grand opening party on Third Ward Gallery night? It was a bigger party than we were expecting and it made us soo happy to see so many people come out. We estimate that we had approximately 1000 people through the shop on Friday night alone! WHAT??!! Thank you SO much to everyone that supports us and allows us to live our dreams. If you haven't stopped in yet (and even if you have!!) we would love for you to come down and say Hi! We are now located at 201 North Water Street. There is a parking garage across the street, but we regularly find street parking on our block, too! Here are some new photos of our shop and from the Grand Opening event!

Cream City Restoration Goes to Denmark

We're Back! We have been back for about two weeks now, but are just getting around to posting now. We could seriously share blog posts about our trip for months, but I will spare all of you and just post a few times. We brought back some beautiful pieces and there are more coming. Every day, waking up in Copenhagen was a dream to us. If we didn't have business in the states, I'm pretty sure we would move there. Who doesn't dream about living all over the world? Oh, that's right, Jason doesn't. We traveled to Denmark with our 3 month old son, and were very nervous about the long travel times. Zeek traveled like a champ, he probably handled the long travel days better that us (and every other adult stuck in London for days!) We would love to share some photos that haven't been shared on our social media. So many people have been asking to see more and wanting to know more about our trip. I wish I would have written this blog post within days after arriving home while it was all still fresh on my memory, but coming home to businesses and real life sucked us in and I haven't had time until now. Keep your eyes on the blog- we will be posting more and have a ton of exciting things happening with us over the next couple of months. (Hopefully including another trip to Denmark!!) If you haven't been to Denmark, we seriously suggest you go. We loved everything about it and will definitely be going back regularly, and will put together a "Cream City Restoration's Guide to Denmark" with all of our favorite spots!

We climbed The Rundetaarn. It is a 17th-century tower located in central Copenhagen. Beautiful views at the top after an exhausting walk up with a baby and stroller! Worth every second!

Our number one coffee spot daily. Some of the best coffee we have ever had.

Every building in Copenhagen is beautiful. Every street is filled with wonderful people, and bikes.

We ate our fair share of hot dogs and mashed roots. So much different than your typical American hot dog. Quality meat, for starters.

We hit seriously some of the best weather of the whole year. Everyone that we talked to said that it rarely gets as warm as it was. Can't complain about that! We did overheat a little when we accidentally walked over 4 miles to get to a restaurant. But hey, it was worth it.

Seating dreams. This was at a museum, but honestly every direction that you look while in Denmark is filled with beautiful design.

I'll post more blog posts about our trip, there is so many great things to share. The people of Denmark are beautiful and welcoming people, we are home feeling rejuvenated and ready to share beautiful products straight from Denmark with all of our customers and friends.

New Shop photos // Seth Alwin Photo Works

We just wanted to make a quick post giving a shout out to our friend Seth Alwin Photo Works. Recently he was in shop taking some beautiful photos for us for different social media outlets and our website. If you were in our shop two weeks ago you probably saw him walking around with his camera capturing everything we love about our space. Check out some more photos that he took and keep your eyes peeled for more as we slowly upload them on social media and use them on our website.

Seth Alwin's main focus is weddings, so if you or anyone you know are looking to hire a wedding photographer, I can't say enough good things about him. Check out his website at www.sethalwin.com and give him a like on Facebook at "Seth Alwin Photo Works"
